Awards

AWIS currently has three awards and scholarships available for anyone who identifies as a woman in the sciences:

• The Miriam Dell Award for Excellence in Science Mentoring
  • Biannual award to recognise excellence in mentoring of those who identify as woman in science
• The AWIS STEM Award
  • Annual scholarship to those who identify as woman studying science at tertiary level
• The Gatehouse Travel Award
  • Scholarship to support those who identify as woman in science to attend professional development events.
